Real Renewable Energy fit Solar hot water systems to new or existing properties. We undertake single house schemes to large scale commercial installations, working with individuals, architects, local authorities, schools, clubs and Social Housing Providers to reduce energy costs.  Solar Thermal Panels are mostly roof mounted and are linked to existing hot water cylinder or to a new “solar cylinder”. The systems are sized by our experienced surveyors to meet the requirements of the household and can provide up to 70% of hot water. Domestic installations generally take a few days to complete with minimal disruption to the householder.

How does it work?
Using radiation from the sun, a sophisticated solar collector (panels or tubes) are used to transfer the maximum amount of energy possible in to a fluid, which runs through the collector and which is then used to indirectly heat water in a Hot water storage cylinder. The technology does not rely on sunlight but on solar radiation, it can therefore work effectively in our climate to provide around 50-70% of annual domestic hot water requirements. Using the sun as a renewable energy source helps the environment, leads to reduced energy bills and means less reliance on gas and electricity for water heating.
